The following are techniques used to calm the body and mind; enhance focus and concentration; expand awareness; and promote creativity and intuition. There are some contraindications with some of the breathing practices, so please limit any participation that may be adverse to your health and well-being. If you haven’t already done so, please read the “Pranayama” section, as well as its “Psychophysiological Effects.” “Yoga Nidra” and “Trading Techniques for Pratyahara” are a sort of visualization exercise and falls under the heading of “Pratyahara,” which I would also address to readers’ attention.
